The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and any or all Agreements: “Client” ,”Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “ The Company”, “We” and “Us” , refers to the Company.
All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means ,for the express purpose of meeting the client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services / products, in accordance with and subject to ,prevailing Laws of Sri Lanka.
Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and /or he/she or they , are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized persons within the Company on a need to know basis only use any information collected from Individual customers.
Scope of our Service
Through the website we offer tour packages and online payment service in collecting registration fees of conferences we are handling with the requests of the Client.
Booking your holiday/ Payment for Registration
Full payment OR a part payment of the payment and your written confirmation will specify an acceptance of these terms and conditions by you.
The balance payment due for your travel package if any must be paid by you not later than 30 days before arrive in Sri Lanka; Otherwise we may treat the Booking as a cancellation.
Methods of Payment
Cash , Bank transfers and credit cards ( Visa and Master) are all acceptable methods of payment. If paid by bank transfers all additional charges and fees related to this will be borne by you.
If paying by credit card you can either pay through ,
-the secure internet payment gateway facility available on our website
-you could do the same by filling in, signing and returning to us a credit card authorization form that will be sent to you by the Company indicating the total amount payable ,also send us copies of both sides of the relevant credit card.
If paying by credit card through the secure payment gateway:
Your payments are processed entirely on the Secure Payment Sites operated by Sampath Bank PLC for Visa and Master Cards. Your card details are not received or stored by the Company made in any form ,and when you place an order as part of the checkout process you are automatically taken to the Sampath Bank Secure Payment facility for Master and Visa cards.
We offer our Clients customized tour packages using various accommodation and transport suppliers. The price given to you for your travel package is subjected to possible changes and surcharges that may occur due to a change in government action , currency exchange rate fluctuation .It is beyond the control of us and in such cases if the price of your travel package is increased you must either pay the additional price or cancel your package in accordance with our booking conditions.
All prices are provided in United States dollars.
Amendments and Cancellations
We reserve the right to charge upto USD 100 per change in the event of you wishing to transfer to another tour, change a confirmed booking or change your package in any way .
Cancellation of the travel arrangement must be notified to us in writing, and will take effect the day we receive it. The following penalties will apply dependent upon the number of days before your travel arrangement commence.
-Between 31 days and 60 days – forfeit of deposit
-Between 15 and 30 days - 25 % of total package Cost
-Between 8 and 14 days - 50 % of total package cost
-7 or Less than 7 days - No refund
No refund is available to you for cancellations after commencement of your travel arrangement or on any services not used for any reason.
It is highly advisable to you and your members of the group obtain medical advice and appropriate medical insurance before you travel.
Make sure that you and the members of your group obtain valid visa before you travel.
Should you require assistance on this matter we will be pleased to make recommendations. We will not be held responsible for your travelling without proper documents.
We will only accept liability for incidents that arise as a direct result of our proven negligence., or that of our suppliers if the entire accommodation and transport are arranged by us.
We do not accept liability for incidents where we act only as a booking Agent and Accommodation is chosen at your own risk.
We would wish to resolve any reasonable complaint that we receive relating to the standard of your travel or accommodation arrangements. But, we would request you to resolve any complaints immediately that you have with the supplier direct.
If your complaint cannot be resolved locally you must follow this up by writing a formal complaint letter to us within 28 days of your return home incorporating all other relevant information. It is a condition of this agreement that you communicate any problem to the supplier of the service/s in question and inform the relevant Merchant representative and travel counselor who handled your booking and if still not resolved then follow this up with a written complaint.
Exclusion of Liability
Our web site contains links to websites operated by parties other than Asia Tours. Those links are provided to you for your reference and convenience only. We do not own or control the content of those web sites and are not responsible for their content of your use of them.
We cannot be held liable for any discrepancies or differences that might arise between the content of our web site. (text,images etc.) any communication sent to you (via email, fax etc.) and the actual property you are accommodated at or the service you are extended.
Information Provided by you
All information provided by you should be true and accurate. We will treat it confidentially and not forward it to any third party. We have a strict anti-fraud policy and take responsible steps to protect personal information such as credit card details.
